I met my hero today!

Pam Penick, author, garden designer, and blogger extraordinaire was at the San Antonio Garden Center today sharing an incredible presentation she put together about losing the lawn and gaining a waterwise landscape or beautiful garden.  Her presentation was wonderful – Pam is such a great public speaker and she talks just like she writes.  She shared a wealth of information, and it was all put together so well.  If you ever have a chance to see her speak,  take it!  My heroThere she is signing my copy of her book for me!  Such a cool moment!  What an awesome day – I got to meet my hero – the woman responsible for so many positive changes in my garden, and my life the last few years.

If you have not purchased Pam’s book yet, Lawn Gone!,  you really need to.  It is not just regional information to Texas either, anyone and everyone…everywhere will benefit from reading this amazing book.

I think I will curl up after the kids are in bed tonight and read my signed book!
