Wide Shot – December 2013
The Wide Shot of my front garden this December reveals a lot more structure than last year, although I see a need for more evergreens to carry the garden more attractively through winter. Above: Front garden todayAbove: front garden last fall/winter seasonHappy Thanksgivukkah! And a happy holiday season to all!
Please join me in posting a wide shot of your garden the first of every month, or anytime you get to it in the month. It is my hope, that this exercise will assist us all both in the appreciation of our gardens as they grow and change, and in growing and learning ourselves to recognize changes we may want to make.

Love all the color, texture and structure. You definitely have a knack for landscaping/gardening. I love picking out plants, however I have such a difficult time with the design aspect of landscaping. Hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgivukkah:)
I have a hard time believing that my friend – the photos you share of your garden are so beautiful! -xericstyle
