Mexican Flame Vine and Chickens…

image

One of the things they DON’T eat, making it the perfect chicken-yard vine.  Much trial and error…

  2. I love that vine. I had one on a trellis that was a real show stopper but a particularly hard freeze killed it and I put queen’s wreath/coral vine in its place. Now that I’m seeing yours I think I need to find another spot and try it out again. Absolutely gorgeous!

  3. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Your vine is beautiful! The leaves remind me of Honeysuckle. What a smart idea to put it on the chicken wire….Will it spread fast?
My Dad always raised poultry and we raised free range chickens when we were younger. I love them…and would love to have them but we have coyote…..new to our region……and I’m sure they would be trying to get at them all the time. :(
