Nothing says I love you like…OPUNTIA!

You have to love it when your friends know you so well, that they are on vacation and they come back with a 5 gallon bucket full of cactus for you.  I literally jumped up and down with excitement.

How cool is that?!  Can’t wait to look inside……until…OUCH!I got smarter! Ah ha…I think I found my planting tool…Just look at this pretty little scene.  How beautiful and amazing – a plant geeks dream come true!  Stay tuned to see the plan I have in store…

My friend must love me because I am guessing she got a few more bites than I did digging all of these up! THANK YOU! xo

  1. I’ll say – all anyone gets from me are some pads I cut off. I have some 10+ year old prickly pears with 12″ pads, over 6′ across and 4′ tall…heavy! Can’t wait to see how your front and other areas evolve

    • Wowzers! I will be reading your blog tonight looking for your prickly pears – that is just incredible! I can’t wait to see the garden evolve too, and as it does, so do I. What I am really excited for is to start my business and helping others once both my kiddos are in school. – xericstyle
