xericstyle is 1! A review…

Lets start at the beginning shall we…Here is the front of our home before we started anything with the exterior.  I was busy scrubbing and working on the interior.  Yes, imagine what that looked like.  It was bad…BAAAAAD!Here was the back of the house.  Note the rotten posts – if you leaned on them, they …

How (not) to build a cedar stave and hog panel gate…

Step 1: Measure and plan it out.  Then measure again…and one last time for good luck.  You need to do a few gate width measurements especially, as if you have rough cedar posts you will be affixing the gate to, you have to measure the width several locations across the full length of the fence …

In all its purply glory…

I can’t have a front purple garden without an Opuntia santa-rita ‘Tubac‘, right?!  I was patient….and finally got one.  I am loving how the cooler it gets, the purpler it gets.  She is a beauty.  I am trying to decide…Hmmmmm….in a pot creating drama on this wall, or in the ground?????????????????//
